Gerde stretched herself. She had found some very interesting references to both Japanese legends and history and to possession. They were already in the mail, along with what Gerde could come up with in her own research.

She could have sworn that she saw Wolfgang sitting in the library, although the memory was getting duller now. I didn't imagine it! She told herself persistently.

A knock on the door made her stir. She looked at her watch. It was past 2 am! Irritably, she got up. Opening the door, she saw the two strangers who were looking for Gabriel earlier. "Gabriel isn't here yet" she said, rather annoyed.

Despite herself, she was intruiged by there appearence. There were as different from each other as night and day. The man was tall and was clad in black from head to toe. He was wearing a black cloak, a black shirt, he had black hair and black eyes, even his socks were black. It was hard to see his face but his eyes had a rather unnerving quality about them, as if they could bore right through you.

The woman, though, was the exact opposite. She was wearing jeans and a leather jacket. Her blond hair and blue eyes resembled Gerde's a bit. If it wasn't for her companion, Gerde would have judged her as absolutly normal.

"Please" said the young lady. "It is very important that we speak to him." "Why?" asked Gerde "Who are you anyway?". "We are the last that remains of the cult of monas da sol (sp?), this is my brother, Malcom. Us and four other members were trying to discover how to save my friend who was possessed. Now we are the last. All the others are dead." The girl looked like she was on the verge of crying. Malcom looked at her fondly and said "We believe that only the Schateinjagers can help us. Please if you know where he is, tell us".

Gerde hesitated. She wasn't someone who would tell just anyone where Gabriel was. But somehow she found that she trusted these people. "He's staying in Japan, in "Hotel International" she told the couple.

"Oh, thank you so much" the lady exclaimed and before Gerde could say anything more, they were off.

Grace layed in her bed. She wasn't able to sleep. She was thinking about Gabriel and his urge to go. "Maybe he already found another poor victim to get his hands on"

Then she suddenly started to look around the room. It was small, not big decoration, two beds separated by a night table. On the other bed, Sho was tied up an asleep. Lily went to sleep with her fathers because she was somehow in shock. She really loved Sho. Grace decided to sleep in that room, in case anything happened. Maybe being near Sho was the reason for not sleeping at all...

Hours passed and Grace could see the numbers of the clock going on as the noisy Tic-tac was driving her crazy. She reached to the nightable to stop that infernal sound when she heard Sho moaning. Grace remained silently. She was somehow scared.

Sho opened his eyes. He started to struggle trying to get off. Grace stood up and tried to calm him while screaming for help. He started to talk in Japanese, then started to repeat "Abe-No-Seimei" endlessly, and then he started to scream as if he were being killed. Nobody heard, Grace was all alone with him...

Grace ran to the door. She was desperate. But just when she tried to open the door, Sho stood up as picked up by strange force that Grace could feel. Grace felt scared, she just couldn't move. And when she finally found forces to run away she found the door bolt by a strange force. Sho remained still with his eyes closed. He opened them and started to walk toward Grace.

-No! Stay away from me! Help! Help me please!

He spoke in English then:

-Nobody will hear you. Don't you remember me? Don't you remeber me Chenyin?

Grace puzzled. Her heart was pumping as hard as never.

-Remember you? What do you mean? Chenyin?

He took her face in his hands. Grace tried to get away from him but now she really couldn't. There was a strange force holding her still. He look into her eyes. She could see the fire burning deep in him. It was a strange feeling, almost as if her were really feeling it. She lost notion of time...

She found herself talking to a man. He was Yorimitsu... He was talking about how killing the Oni had brought awful nightmares and hallucinations to his life. He told her that he couldn't had a quiet life and that wasn't what he wanted to offer to her.

-Chenyin I'm leaving you...

She jumped into him, hugging him with all her strenght. She was crying, it hurt her really bad. Her suffering was more than that she could handle. She kissed her softly and ran away.

-I wil come back someday! I can swear it! -He screamed to her

Yorimitsu went. He was leaving that day off to some faraway lands, off to find a way to get rid of his desperation.

Chenyin cried all night long. He loved Yorimitsu so much... It was late. The night was creepy and the silence was disturbing her.

Suddenly, the windows opened by a strong wind that came from nowhere. All in the room started to fall to the floor, Chenyin tried to run, but a strange force grab her and took her away from that room, away, far awy...

She found herself tied to a tree. It was dark and she feared. She knew she was in real troubles but she didn't know what exactly was it. But suddenly an ugly creature appeared from nowhere. It was Shuten Doji, the Oni... Chenyn knew that this was the end...

The beast walked slowly toward her with just one reason in mind, to eat her to revenge from Yuritmisu. Chenyn screamed. Suddenly a Blode man appeared. He seemed European. He came to stop the demon. From his hand, hung the Ritter Talisman...

Grace came out of trance. Sho wasn't there anymore. She fainted...
