Chapter 3
Gabriel drove his rental car to the Glasgow Police Station. The desk sergeant was a tall, slim man who was the complete oppisite of Frick. "Hello, my name is Gabriel Knight. I'm an....."
The desk sergeant interrupted "THE Gabriel Knight the author of the Voodoo Murders and The Werewolf Killings I'm a big fan. What brings you to Glasgow? Well, I'm working on a new book about The Stone Henge Killings." "A new book!?"
"Yes. Can you tell me the location of the crimes scenes?"
"Why, no." he winked at Gabe. "I couldn't tell you that the second killing was 19 miles due south of Glasgow and I and I couldn't tell you anything else in fact."
"Thanks for no info." Gabe winked.
Gabe rode to the spot.
The body was still hanging. A small crowd had gathered around the scene.
"John McBeth, London Times do you have a motive?"
"Anna Greggory, Inspector Grant how'd the killer get the bodies up there?"
An attractive young Scottish reporter yelled Deborah Wallace, Glasgow Sun, were the victims killed before or after they were hanged?"
Gabe stepped next to her. God, I read about the killings in the paper but seeing one is perosn is never the same."
She turned to him "You've seen the other bodies?"
"Yep." Gabe lied
"Can you give me the locations?"
"How 'bout we discuss this at dinner?"
"Ok, my name is Debby Wallace."
"Gabriel Knight."
"Why don't I meet you at Mill's Restaurant in town. at 7 o'clock."
"See ya then."
Gabriel returned to the police station. "I need you not to tell me the locations of the other two murders." he asked the desk sergeant.
"That would be three now." the desk seargeant responded.
