Updated the movie magic section, including a complete list of what
actions all the filenames correspond to. This titanic achievment was
only made possible by the superhuman Jay Prychidny! 29th August 1997 After downloading the spectacularly large files from Sierra (More please!), I have converted them into MPEG 3 files to make them much smaller, and placed them in the GK2 soundfiles section. Also, a small bit of news has been added. 27th August 1997 Few things added in the news section. Small link change to the official Sierra GK site in the links section. 26th August 1997 An additional chapter to Carlos' "Pimp Within" in the fan fiction archive. Also added a little bit in the news section. 25th August 1997 Some new fan fiction, and some very interesting new news. 23rd August 1997
Links, restructuring them to accomodate Sierra's "Gabe's Faves" awards (I'm sure there will be plenty appearing here in the future!). Some new bits and pieces in the news section, including some tasty info about the Knights Templars. Made a few amendments to Carlos' "Pimp Within" story in the fan fiction archive (Hurrumph! 22nd August 1997 A few more bits about Saignes in the news section. 21st August 1997 A little bit of info into the news section. Added a new story to the fan fiction archive. 19th August 1997 Put even more information into the news section. You know where to come for the lowdown on GK! Added some more parts to Gamegenies "Final Atonement", in the fan fiction archive. Added another morphing AVI file to the resources page. 18th August 1997 Lots of new news for you people to digest! Also added a morphing AVI file into the resources section. 17th August 1997 Bleurgh! Corrected some attrocious spelling and grammer on my part on the news page. More interesting speculation added in the news section. 16th August 1997 Added a huge amount of material to the news section (can you guess where I sourced it from?), and have added another massive batch of new stories into the official fan fiction archive. Also added a new interview with Jane Jensen to the links page. Added three more easter eggs. 14th August 1997
"T'was the eve before the official GK3 site was made live, and all was well..." While we anxiously await a few hours until Sierra make available the GK3 site to the information starved game playing public, I have formatted the fan fiction archive with a new logo, and updated info about how the fan fiction section all started. May I take this opportunity to express a huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to it, those to those individuals who are still writing new and fresh material for everyone to read. My story is still languishing in its lowly ASCII text file 12th August 1997 The unofficial fan archive is no more! It now becomes the fully Sierra sanctioned: The Official Gabriel Knight Fan Fiction Archive Also added an interesting news snippet about what GK3 might be all about. 10th August 1997 I wasn't happy with the boring table MIDI layout that I used (ages ago) for the GK1 MIDI section, so I decided to change the look a little into something more funky! Fixed some file names so that they are more appropriate to the song they contain. Also broke up the soundfiles page, from the resource page into two manageable areas. 9th August 1997 Another batch of fan fiction for your pleasure! I have decided to put some form of indicator which shows whether a story has been completed, and/or whether it contains prose which some people may be sensitive to. Added a lot more easter eggs area, including a description of what they are, a possible scene in GK2 that was clipped due to space constraints, and a whole slew of things to try in GK1. 8th August 1997 Another complete story has been added to the fan fiction archive. Also, for the observant among you, I am gradually starting to use tables to delimit the size of text heavy pages on this site. I find it helps aid reading some of the more lengthy paragraphs that are contained on this site. 7th August 1997 A few more additions to the fan fiction archive, and an archived interview with Dean Erickson on the links page. 4th August 1997 Added a new GK site to the links page.
